TERMS AND CONDITIONS

COST OF THE VOYAGE INCLUDES

ACCOMMODATIONS

7 nights onboard an AmaWaterways river-cruise ship in Deluxe stateroom (French balcony, 170 square feet) and 5 to 6 nights (depending on the chosen itinerary) in a luxury hotel (minimum 4 stars European standard).

COORDINATION TEAM

Cruise & Golf Travel Tour Manager to maintain all tours and logistics. Cruise & Golf Travel Golf Coordinator to take care of all golf operations.

EXCURSIONS

All entrance fees; Professional English-speaking guide for each tour. The described excursions may be altered due to circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond our control.

GOLF

5 rounds (Bordeaux & Brittany, Provence & Cote d’Azur) or 6 rounds (Danube Adventure, Normandy) of golf, 18 holes per course (weather permitting); golf carts or pull trolleys. Courses listed as of January 1, 2018 but may be altered due to navigational changes, course conditions, changes in tournament dates or to enhance your golf experience.

GRATUITIES

All gratuities to bell-men, hotel staff, drivers, local guides and ship’s crew.

MEALS

All meals and cocktails onboard the ship during the cruise – breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner with house wines; lunches during golf tours; welcome reception.

TRANSPORTATION

(will vary dependent on the selected tour and/or custom tour)
Bordeaux and Southern Brittany (2019): Transfer from Bordeaux Mérignac Airport to the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux on June 11 and to AmaDolce on June 13; Transfer from the ship to Le Royal Barrière in La Baule on June 20; Transfer from Le Royal Barrire in La Baule to Paris Airport on June 23 (additional charges may apply for transfers on different arrival or departure dates); round-trip transportation to excursion sites and to golf sites in premium, air-conditioned coaches.

Normandy Discovery Tour (2019): Transfer from Paris Airport to l’Hôtel du Golf in Deauville on August 5 and to AmaLyra on August 8; Transfer from the ship to the Grand Hôtel in Enghien les Bains on August 15; Transfer from the Grand Hôtel in Enghien to Paris Airport on August 18 (additional charges may apply for transfers on different arrival or departure dates); round-trip transportation to excursion sites and golf sites in premium, air-conditioned coaches.

Danube Adventure (2019): Transfer from Budapest Airport to the Corinthia Palace on September 27 and to AmaMagna on September 29; Transfer from the ship to the Kempinski Berchtesgaden on October 6; Transfer to the Charles Hotel on October 8. Transfer from the Charles Hotel to Munich Airport on October 10 (additional charges may apply for transfers on different arrival or departure dates).

Provence & Côte d’Azur Tour (2018): Transfer from Paris Airport to the Intercontinental Hotel “Le Grand” on October 1 and from the hotel to the ship on October 4; Transfer from AmaCello to Le Mas Candille in Mougins on October 11; Transfer from Le Mas Candille to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport on October 14 (additional charges may apply for transfers on different arrival or departure dates)

USE OF IMAGE

Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. reserves their right to take photographs during any trip for promotional purposes. Any traveler who does not want his/her image to be used must inform us in writing.

COST OF THE VOYAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE

Airfares; airport taxes; excess luggage charges; passport or visa expenses; travel insurance; personal items such as telephone and Internet charges, laundry, etc.; caddie fee (when applicable); dinners off the ship; any elective tour before or after trip dates.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS

Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure date. At the time Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. receives a written cancellation via mail or email, the following penalties apply:

Until 120 days prior to departure: $350 per person
119 to 90 days prior to departure: 30% of voyage cost
89 to 60 days prior to departure: 65% of voyage cost
Less than 59 days before departure: 100% of voyage cost

Penalties above also apply to Pre-, Post-Cruise extensions and any travel arrangements made by Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. Airfare penalties are set by the individual airlines. In the event where a canceled space is resold prior to the starting date of the tour, an amount equal to the one received for resale, less $400 per person will be refunded.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INSURANCE

Travel insurance programs are available at additional cost. An application for trip cancellation and interruption insurance will be mailed with your confirmation. Please note that Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. strongly recommends travel insurance.

ITINERARIES

Hotel, cruise accommodations, golf and sightseeing venues are subject to change due to circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond our control. Cruise itineraries are subject to change due to government regulations, water conditions, and other factors. The right is reserved to adjust the itinerary as deemed necessary.

RESPONSIBILITY

Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. (doing business as Cruise & Golf Travel) and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors and subcontractors act only as the agent for the travelers to any transportation carrier, hotel, restaurant, ground operator or any other supplier of services connected with these trips (“other providers”) and the other providers are solely responsible and liable for providing their respective services. We can assume no liability for any loss of, or damage to, property and injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by any act or omission, including but not limited to any defect in aircraft, watercraft or vehicle. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or inconvenience due to delay, cancellation or disruption in any manner caused by any government or agent thereof, acts of God or force majeure, terrorism, war, strikes, sickness, epidemics, quarantine, theft or any other
causes beyond our control. The travelers waive any claim against Cruise & Golf Travel Inc. and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors and subcontractors for any such loss, injury, damage or death. The travelers represent that neither they nor anyone traveling with them have any physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for self or other members on the tour. The right is reserved to decline or accept or retain anyone as a trip participant at his/her expense. In the event of an emergency, the travelers authorize medical personnel to share critical health information with tour staff to help expedite appropriate medical response.
